shall talk about some of my outings for the past weeks!

cheap western meal:

6.90$ chicken steak!

utown visit:

val and I paid xia darling a visit at her hostel after work!
the hostel's really conducive, and the meal size there is woah. rice + 2 meat + 2 vege + free flow of drinks & salad & fruit & soup. the size to feed a giant!

but the people there still control their diet pretty well, all still so skinny. hahaha unlike being in poly. no such treatment, but people still get plump. lol we should learn from them.

and the library is soooo quiet. pin drop silence, really. everyone there's mugging real hard, you can feel stress in the air. lol. good place for studying!
but val and I were playing, lol.

went into her room too. its so cosy ;> her room deco and accessories are so cute! haha.

crab shack:

crab shack was introduced on tv, so I decided to try it out with andy on a friday night ;)
the food there was gooood! def not kopitiam standard.

 

almost couldnt try the brownie cause it was sold out (time check: 7 pm only ;(). but there was a cancelled order, so we were really fortunate! ;>
the brownie was (Y)(Y)!

looks so good even before eating!

a high cholestrol dinner! lol. but once in awhile for all things crab, worth it! ;)

 

mummy's birthday:

mummy's birthday happens to fall on deepavali, which means I get a day off to celebrate with her! :)
went to eat at the handburger, and surprised her with a cake!
mummy  was taken aback, and she was really happy :')

strawberry cheesecake jumbled up - who says cheese has to be between the biscuit crust and strawberry toppings? ;)

we went to play w winter wear.

then I went to surprise her with a sunflower while she was in the toilet hahaha.

after that, we went to visit granny and my relatives.
its been so long since I've last seen her. I missed her so much! ;( since mother's day. I've been a terrible granddaughter.
aunt rachel's back from canada, so I got to see her too!

office happenings:

lots of makan @ work!

beans from hwei peng, ferrero rocher from fong yan, fish muruku snack, pork floss snacks & preserved fruit from joycelyn, muruku from our india couterparts and chocolate cake from indonesian counterparts!

the office was so empty after deepavali, I thought I went to work on the wrong day ._.

and we queued for free bread @ amoy! lol learning how to be kiasu from my colleagues.

anyhoos, the invitation to d&d came!

my colleagues are asking me what I'm wearing, what hairstyle would I be in, and my answer would be "I dont know" loool.
think I should give it some thought soon! 7th of nov coming real soon!

ah, I need to squeeze out time to blog!

singtelshop web hung just now due to the huge traffic flow, and I was panicking just like how I did half a year ago selecting for timetable. hahahha. I thought I would never have to experience that again. lol.
thanks to zi hao who tipped me off, giving me a 'miracle link' that bypassed the traffic, did I manage to reserve a set in time! :)
grumpy was nice to tell me too, hehehe. all damn nice people <3
social networking sites can be a great help when you're in situations like this lawls.

in just about an hour later, all bookings were wiped out. phew.

witnessed a road block this afternoon.
it was caused by the breaking of a tree branch that obstructed the road leading to my block of flats.
the police came, and there were people guiding drivers in and out.

was looking out from the balcony, when I took a glance at my house's plants.
they've been there for years, but I seldom, if ever, looked at them.
then I saw the money plant I bought for mummy when I was in pri school.
its still growing well, looking so vibrant :)

its stay-home weekend! :)
been going out mon, wed, fri. ._. cant do this anymore, its really draining!

monday's the 3rd :) it marks 20 months tgt!
we had a 6-course anniversary dinner hahaha.

and on wed, I met up w xia, jan and val!! :):)
its been 8,273,828 days since I've saw them!

ate @ the soup spoon - the souper value meal is really good! worth a second trip!

we sat there for hours till the shop was closing for the day. didnt get to eat our haagen-dazs rum & raisin. ;<

val hacked xia's fb account by checking all of us into st. james power house, lol!
I was being indirectly pulled into the picture too!
in no time, all three of them were mesing up each other's fb walls, hahaha. we played around so much, I had heaps of laughter! been so long since I've last laughed so hard :D

and on friday, I ate with siying & ruru at red pig korean restaurant! hahaha. cute name!
the food there was good and cheap! if only we had more time to enjoy our lunch properly.

carls jr has this suppperr long straw! I was curious and took one to try! hahaha. but the both of them kept calling me a retard ;< its for curious and adventurous people okay!! hahah.

went to cine to catch friends w benefits, but tickets were selling fast so we headed to nex.
M18 show, with lots of steamy bed scenes.
before that, I read justin timeberlake and mila kunis' interview with 8 days, and they were saying it takes lots of chemistry to fake good sex. loool. now I understand why after watching! they were practically wearing nothing.

we were all so sleepy by then, cause it was close to midnight!

its been a month of internship! how time flies!
but its a good sign, cause it means I've been enjoying myself at work right? haha.

feeling comfortable w my lunch mates alrdy, and I'm still building rapport w my other colleagues.
I've been eating quite abit this week, omg.
pre-ordered tau huey, townhall buffet, cupcake from colleague, tidbits from colleagues, penang snack from colleague, muffin. zz sinful. not to mention that I've a sedentary work. thats it man. lol. I'm gonna be like those OLs with nice toned legs but a bulge in front.
just few nights ago, ruben msged me out of the blue to start exercising. loool damn sian. but I felt better after he said only my face grew chubbier. hehh ;p self-consolation.
I've been religiously jogging every week, so hope this helps! like now, I just came back from my jog!

met up w andy after work on tues! :) finally, after so long!

returned home close to midnight!

met up w huiru and her deloitte friends for lunch on wed! it was enjoyable meeting up w friends :) made a new friend too - shijie!
and cute huiru got jealous cause I wrote on his wall and not hers, hahaha <3 this girl!

and yesterday was a blessing in disguise.
it was pouring heavily in the morning, and I missed two buses cause it was packed with SA peepo.
many people gave up and decided to walk despite the terrible weather, and I asked mummy on the phone if I should walk instead. she asked me to wait for the next bus, cause it was raining cats and dogs. before I knew it, the next bus arrived and it was so empty! :)

then, I dropped my ez-link during my train journey to work.
I only realised it was missing when I had to tap out. reported to the control station guy immediately, and he told me to inform the people at potong pasir as well.
decided to ask mummy to help me do so, since I would be home rather late.
I was sooo sian, cause I've train concession and cash in it. anw it doesnt feel good to lose things.

spent less than an hour sulking, before I received a call from mummy.
she said the train personnel couldnt reach me to inform that my card was being found. damn, I was so thrilled to hear this piece of news! fast service! (Y)(Y)
I really really thank that kind commuter who picked it up and returned the card. may you be blessed!! there're good samaritans around :')
I really didnt expect to receive news so fast, cause it was the peak hour.
I even thought my card could've been kicked into the railway with so many people walking and rushing to work. hahaha.

oh but aside from that, my phone really sucks. the line couldnt get thru recently.
dropped it a gazillion times, and its malfunctioning now. lol. time for a change! my contract ends on the 24th of oct, hehe ^^

met andy for dinner again! haha. it never gets bored ;>
ate @ pepper lunch, and he went shopping w me hahahah. brought home some really good buys! :)
and I told myself that I'm NOT gonna shop anymore till my pay comes in, when I would reward myself w a bag! then its time to stop for good. seriously, I'm getting out of hand. hahaha.

went to visit his mummy after that, and his auntie happened to be there too! its been so long since I've last seen them! :) we chatted quite abit before going up. andy was surprised we could talk this long hahaha.

spent some quality time w him, and when I was about to go home, his aunt and uncle told us to tag along for supper.
picked up the kids and off for supper @ hougang!
we had chicken wings, french fries and stingray. whow right, and time check: 11 pm. sinful sinful tsk.
they drove me home after that. really nice family :) I can feel warmth there! the dirty talks we had in the car were hilarious! missed the kids.

WOOHOO, I'M BACK FROM THE AWESOME F1 CONCERT!! :D:D

kyaa, I got to see gd, top & seungri for the first time, in reality!! no more pictures/fancams/gif images, but real, in human form!!
and we were so close to the stage, say about 1 to 2 metres away?! :D but it still seemed far cause there were so many people in between.

the crowd got so hyped up when DJ murf appeared onstage, and we practically went crazy when the stars came up.
everyone was screaming, putting their hands up in the air and jumping.
it was like an outdoor club, really.
there's this tall and muscular guy blocking my view half the time ;( super upset. quek got the best spot! so lucky!
didnt dare to jump much, cause priscilla was filming. haha.

seungri was so attractive! gd&top were as good-looking as I imagined them to be, especially my top oppa :3 <3
ohyes, I got to say that top's fan service was the best!! (Y)(Y) he went so upclose to the audience and even posed for the cameras! so unlike him!!
gd on the other hand, kept flying on stage. haha. he didnt really came to our side much, or maybe my eyes were on top most of the time ^^
gd would've looked way better if he was in his blonde/bronze times.

and top took out his specs during high high! he should've done away with them from the start! he looks so much better without them, hehe.

at a point of time, I felt my voice becoming squeaky from all the screams, loool.

I was still stuck in dreamland after the concert. our ears were blocked, and it didnt feel real to me, haha.
eunice was so happy, she kept saying, "omg fiona, you must be so happy now!! are you glad you came!!" HAHAHA. yes, I'm so damn glad!
I initially didnt buy the ticket cause there was no one going with me. then ruru's friend wanted to sell hers, and quek & ruru asked me to tag along w them. haha so yay! it was heaven's will :D had the same dilemma twice, but made different decisions. and a better one this time ;>

huiru's friends are nice! :) we kinda broke the ice and made friends with one another alrdy hahah. talked quite abit to priscilla during the waiting time!
they were so nice to video fancams and snap photographs for us too! thankyou so muchh :):)

though the outing didnt turn out like how I expected it to be - buffet style dinner, cancelled. 'cake' surprise, failed. lots of bloppers and obvious hints, check. - I really enjoyed myself during that 4 short hours of catching up with one another, and I felt that the rest did too; at least from a lady's sixth sense. haha!

one hour of eating and chatting is really not enough!
but its okay, there're many more 'one hours'! cause we're just next door :D

and I got to mention, it was my first time being so kiasu to 'chop' seats w my tissue packet, looool.

I had to do it, since my colleagues werent eating w me. its always them who do it. haha!
huiru and I still cant get used to this manner of reserving seats.
